The more things change, the more they stay the same!
In the April 1989 edition we comprehensively reported on the major conservation issue of the day titled "Greenhouse: A Real Threat".
Melbourne Hoo-Hoo Club brought together Dr Barrie Pittock, a noted atmospheric scientist; Graham O'Neill, the science editor of the Melbourne "Age"; and Norman Huon, the executive director of the Victorian Sawmillers Association.
I think it was the first time most of us in attendance had ever had that Greenhouse stuff fully explained.
As I said . . . the more things change . . . ?
